Sherry Banyout
PhD Student

Sherry Banyout is a Ph.D. student in economics at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon and affiliated to the Center for Economic Research on Governance, Inequality and Conflict.
She holds a Master's degree from the University of Warwick. Before joining CERGIC, she worked as a senior Research Associate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab MENA (J-PAL MENA).
Her main research interests include economic development, with particular focus on the intersection of climate change, migration and gender economics. She is also interested in topics related to social connections and artificial intelligence.
