CERGIC is committed to promoting open data, open-source practices, and the reproducibility of research findings. Many colleagues actively contribute to the public good through data acquisition. CERGIC also organizes "replication games" as part of the Institute for Replication, in order to promote transparency and the reproducibility of research work.
Project HiSCoD: exhaustive data on social conflict from the Middle Ages to the late 19th century. As of March 2022, it includes data on more than 20,000 events, from fiscal scuffles concerning just a few individuals to urban revolts involving thousands of people.
