Postdoctoral Researcher in Urban Economics
We offer a two-year postdoc position funded by the French Agency of Research within the framework of the Corjolis project. This position will start on September 1st, 2026. The monthly gross salary is 2900 euros. The successful candidate will be based at Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon. The post-doc will also have access to research funds. The teaching load is zero. There is a possibility of complementing the postdoc wage with some teaching activities (knowledge of French is not required since all courses are taught in English).

Anyone with strong skills in applied microeconomics with a particular interest in urban economics, housing economics and inequalities is strongly encouraged to apply.
Postdoctoral Researcher in Applied Economics and Earth Observation Data
We offer a two-year postdoc position within the framework of the Satellite Data for Human and Environmental Protection and Life Improvement (SHIELD) Research Chair, a joint initiative between the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Center for Economic Research on Governance, Inequality and Conflict (CERGIC). This position will start on September 1st, 2026. The monthly gross salary is 2750 euros. The successful candidate will be based at Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon. The post-doc will also have access to research funds. The teaching load is zero. There is a possibility of complementing the postdoc wage with some teaching activities (knowledge of French is not required since all courses are taught in English).

Anyone with strong quantitative skills, as well as a solid knowledge of, and strong interest in working with, satellite and remote-sensing data is strongly encouraged to apply.
