Kenza Elass

Kenza Elass is a Postdoctoral Fellow in economics in the Center for Economic Research on Governance, Inequality and Conflict (CERGIC) at ENS Lyon.

​

She uses text analysis methods to study gaps in the labour market, job search behaviours, and algorithmic bias in generative AI. From 2023-2025, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Bocconi University and the Axa Gender Lab. She holds a PhD in economics from the Aix Marseille School of Economics , where her dissertation examined supply side effects on gender wage inequality under the supervision of Cecilia Garcia-Peñalosa and Christian Schluter, in affiliation with the Labour Chair of the Paris School of Economics.
