Tom Buchot is a Ph.D. student in economics at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon and affiliated to the Center for Economic Research on Governance, Inequality and Conflict.

Before starting his PhD, he completed his studies in economics at ENS Lyon. His research focuses on political economy, in particular media influence on politics, media capture and accountability.
