María José González-Fuentes is a Ph.D. student at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon and affiliated to the Center for Economic Research and Governance, Inequality and Conflict (CERGIC).

​

She holds a Master's degree from the Paris School of Economics (PSE). Before joining CERGIC, she worked as a Research Assistant at the LIEPP (Sciences Po) with a focus on gender economics and was a pre-doc at INSEAD. 

 

Her current research lies at the intersection of gender economics and political economy. She is also interested in topics related to medias, inequality and development.
